CKUT 90.3 FM recently celebrated its 25th birthday. Not to be outdone, we at Venus decided to celebrate our Sweet Sixteenish by hosting an on-air reunion to get together some of the amazing people who have made the show what it is over the years. We started off the show with a piece by the Venus founding foremothers, and moved on to talk about interviewing Beth Ditto and JD Samson, The Venus Beef, and the guys who sent us cheese. We also aired an interview and live performance with Merrill Garbus, AKA tUnE-YaRdS, from Before She Was Famous, and played some clips of the very first Radioke.
