Female culture: visual art

Check out this mindblowing new animation by Montreal visual artist Sarah Pupo– it’s a music video for Nina Nielsen’s What Was a Wild Night.

Also, a powerful psychedelic pattern bomb is being dropped on Montreal this month by visual artist Dominique Petrin. First, she is unveiling a new installation at the Arprim Art Imprime- Printmaking (Montreal’s only artist run center focussed on printmaking) this Friday September 14, 2012 17:30-21:00 at 372 Sainte-Catherine O #426.

Here is a sneak preview of what the installation looks like:

Later in the month, Dominique will be covering the outer walls of St.Laurent’s famous punk rock hangout Katacombs in a special street art installation. Watch out Montreal- we’re taking back the main!!! Head’s up for an opening party with Venus Radio… more info to follow…
